To provide undergraduate students at our university with opportunities to be exempted from core compulsory courses in information technology, make full use of educational resources, and enhance learning outcomes, these guidelines are formulated based on the university's "Undergraduate Basic Course Exemption Regulations." Applications for exemption from core compulsory courses in information technology may be submitted in accordance with these rules.

Information Technology Compulsory Course Exemption Application Process:

Core Information Technology Compulsory Courses
These refer to the "Introductory Programming" (2 credits) and "Intermediate Programming" (2 credits) courses offered by the General Education Center. -
Eligible Applicants
Undergraduate students of this university are eligible. -
Exemption Criteria
Students who meet the university's Programming Proficiency Graduation Standards through competitions, certifications, or assessments (including the university-organized Programming Proficiency Test) are eligible to be exempted from the 2-credit compulsory courses in the Information Technology category offered by the General Education Center. Credits will be granted accordingly. For detailed assessment and review standards, refer to the "Implementation Guidelines for the Programming Proficiency Graduation Standards Assessment and Review." -
Application Process
Students who meet the exemption criteria must submit their application to the Information and Library Services Division within the deadline announced by the General Education Center, along with the required proof documents. Late submissions will not be accepted. -
Announcement and Credit Approval
The results of the exemption applications will be announced before the end of the course add/drop period for the semester. The approved credits will be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs for registration.
